An Open Day to remember…

On Saturday, Kilgraston welcomed a record number of families to their first open day of 2017.

Families began the day with a welcome speech in the Chapel by the Headmistress, Mrs Dorothy MacGinty and Head Girl, Susie Dougall. On exiting the Chapel, visitors enjoyed a stunning performance by the school choir. The talk was followed by a personal tour of the school campus and classrooms, where families could take part in the numerous interactive activities on offer. Many visitors gathered around the school stables to meet the 18 horses and ponies onsite and visited the outstanding sports facilities, science centre and art classrooms. In the Junior Years, the pupils and visitors took part in a very competitive ‘Highland Games’; haggis hurling being a particular highlight! With the addition of a new art room and library, it was a great opportunity for Head of Junior Years, Mr Andrew Stewart to show visitors the exciting developments at Kilgraston School.
It was a hugely successful day for Kilgraston. If you were unable to make the open day, don’t worry. At Kilgraston, everyday is an open day and we welcome families at any point during the year. If you would like to visit us and see what Kilgraston has to offer, please contact the Admissions office on 01738 812 257 or email [email protected].
