Our values come to life with sound decision taking and oversight

Ensuring and mentoring the long-term wellbeing of Kilgraston School is critical.

Our Trustees and Board of Governors play the crucial role in guaranteeing the delivery of a first class experience for pupils and parents that brings our guiding values to life. Sound decision taking built on a detailed management oversight ensures both the short term as well as the long-term development of the School.

Our Trustees Deliver Sustainability

Our Trustees ensure the financial sustainability of the School. They also ensure the goals of Sacred Heart and Catholic traditions and ethos remain firmly at the heart of the daily life of the School. Our Chaplain represents Catholic teaching and provides a link between the school and our local diocese.

Our Board Delivers Detailed Oversight

Our Board of Governors works closely with the School’s management team. The Board’s responsibility is wide ranging; from strategic planning and major capital investment decisions to monitoring the effective implementation of individual aspects of the strategic plan.

Our Board members provide a wide range of personal, educational and business experience. Each takes individual responsibility for specific aspects of the life of the School. Regular direct interaction with key members of staff providing advice and mentoring support is an important feature of the work of Board members.
