OCTOBER MINI-CAMPS 2020
FOR GIRLS AND BOYS AGED 5 – 17 OF ALL ABILITIES
Monday 12th October – Friday 16th October (10:00 – 16:00, Monday to Friday)
Our Multi-Sports camps contain a combination of sports and sports-based games. The sports we have on offer include: athletics, touch rugby, rounders, lacrosse, badminton, basketball, netball, volleyball. We’ll balance these with a range of games, such as capture the flag, chaos tag, sharks and fishes, and much more.
This programme is flexible and is run by our qualified and experienced coaches who will try to accommodate participants’ favourite sports, even if they aren’t on our list.
We make the full use of our sports facilities for our camps, including the sports hall, sports pavilion, tennis courts, football fields, woodland areas, and swimming pool.
Please note that due to the Scottish Government’s updated restrictions on 10th September, we are currently only able to take confirmed bookings from those aged 11 and under. We will still accept provisional bookings from those aged 12+, and these will be wait-listed and, if the next update on 5th October allows it, will be confirmed then.
All sports practiced during our camps will be non-contact only.
The price is £35 per day per child, or £150 for the full-week. Payment methods are detailed on the booking form.
OWN A PONY DAYS
Tuesday 13th October and Thursday 15th October (10:00 – 15:00)
The equestrian centre will be offering an ‘Own a pony day’ experience on the 13th and 15th October. Pony days run from 10am – 3pm, and include 2 x ridden sessions (flatwork, jumping, hacking, games etc) as well as learning to care for the horses and ponies. We have limited spaces available and due to Covid-19 restrictions we can only offer places to children who can mount and do their own stirrups independently, so no beginners.
The price is £60 per day per child. Payment methods are detailed on the booking form.
Please note that in light of the current pandemic, our camps are running subject to guidance from the Scottish Government and various sporting and other associations, which we continue to review. This means that our operational procedures, spaces used, as well as the sports that we have on offer are subject to change. Any significant changes made will be communicated to parents by email with as much notice as possible.
As always, our foremost priority continues to be the safety and wellbeing of families, staff and our wider community. We will continue to communicate with families, but please get in touch if you have any questions on this matter.
