Before the summer holidays started Alex was invited to trial for the Ace Netball Development training academy at the Oriam in Edinburgh on Monday 19th August.
This is a rigorous 38 week training session every Monday evening run by Mary Ann Cosgrove - ex Scottish National coach . She is also one of the coaches for the Edinburgh Accies senior Netball club who are currently the number one senior netball team in Scotland.
Alex had her trial and was asked by Mary Ann Cosgrove if she would become part of the training academy.
Obviously her answer was yes!
Alex starts her training from September the 2nd so all the best to Alex for the coming season!
