This weekend Katherine had the Carnegie Winter Open Meet.
She picked up gold in the 13-14 100m butterfly with a new short course PB of 1:06.13.
This time was also faster than the 15-16 age group which is the one above Katherine.
The 200m butterfly was a real experience for her as she was in the lane next to Olympian Aimee Wilmot. Aimee finished in a time of 2:16.27, Katherine wasn’t too far behind, she swam a new short course PB of 2:24:80. Katherine took gold in her age group for the 200 butterfly and finished 3rd overall which is a fantastic achievement.
She also picked up silver in the 400IM with a new PB of 5:13.21, 20 seconds off last years’ time and silver in the 400 freestyle with a new PB of 4:34.83. She also swam the 200 freestyle, 4th place and short course Pb of 2:13.15.
What absolutely fantastic results!
