National Schools Equestrian Association Show Jumping Competition
On Saturday 14th May, Sasha Niven, Alannah Grieve and Kyla Grieve travelled down to the borders to represent Kilgraston in the National Schools Equestrian Association Show Jumping Competition at Floors Castle. The classes were huge with 50-60 riders in each and the girls all rode some brilliant rounds with Sasha and Kyla going double clear but just 2 seconds off the winner in the 75cm to come 8th (Sasha) and 7th (Kyla). Alannah has only had her new pony Freddie a month but they are really getting to know each other well. They flew around the 95cm in the fastest time of the day but just rolled a pole in the jump off costing them a placing. Very well done to all 3 girls.
Kyla’s pony is sadly lame at the moment so Kilgraston’s very own Clio stepped in for the outing at the last minute so Kyla could still compete, she really is a very special riding school pony!
