Regular dressage and show jumping clinics are held for those wishing to develop their abilities and extra training sessions are provided in the run up to team competitions.

Riders are also encouraged to take part in Stable Management and horse care, all sessions are supervised by experienced staff and Kilgraston is also a registered Pony Club Centre. This allows members the opportunity to sit Pony Club tests and gain Achievement Badges and provides a structured approach to training.

Kilgraston is also an SVQ approved centre which allows girls to study towards the SVQ level 2 in horse care. This course is both delivered and assessed on-site and successfully completed offers direct entry to BHS stage 3. The closest BHS exam centre is Gleneagles and again we can help with training towards exams up to, and including, stage 3.

Bring Your Own Horse

Pupils may also bring their own horse or pony to Kilgraston, subject to Terms & Conditions and availability.
