Kilgraston has a legendary reputation for Art & Design where many past pupils have gained national recognition. There are opportunities to study a wide range of design disciplines in the area of Applied Arts such as jewellery, ceramics and textiles, graphics and illustration and also Computer Aided Design including animation.

Students are offered the opportunity to to study all aspects of Fine Art including Photography, Printmaking and Life Drawing for the senior students.

The girls make regular visits to workshops, galleries, and exhibitions locally and nationally, and practising artists are frequently invited to the school to talk, give demonstrations and discuss techniques and ideas.
