Equestrian Centre

Introduction

Kilgraston is the only school in Scotland with equestrian facilities on campus. Our Equestrian Centre is fully equipped and includes a 60m x 40m floodlit arena, well maintained securely fenced grazing, and a jumping paddock.

Whether you aspire to ride for the school team or have never ridden before and would like to try, there is something for you. Lessons are restricted to Kilgraston pupils and their siblings, resulting in a relaxed, friendly atmosphere and a high standard of tuition.

The in-house Pony Club offers structured lessons and the possibility of working towards achievement badges and efficiency tests. Regular competitions are also a feature, as are specialist workshops and clinics. Riders at Kilgraston are encouraged to take part in Stable Management and horse care and all sessions are closely supervised by qualified staff.
