A normal school day at Kilgraston starts with registration at 8.45am followed by an inter-denominational morning assembly for all girls in the Senior School and Sixth Form which takes place in the School Chapel at 8.55am. Teaching commences at 9.05am and with six periods running through until 4.10pm. All of the girls have a common 55 minute lunch break at 12.15pm with breaks mid-morning and again at mid-afternoon.

At 4.30pm after school activities and prep begin usually ending at around 6.30pm for supper, which is the main meal for boarders.
