For girls between the ages of 5 and 13 years (boys up to the age of 9).

The Prep School is located within The Grange, a stunning conversion of Kilgraston's 18th Century farm courtyard. The bright classrooms surround a magnificent glass-covered Atrium, a spectacular enclosed area that is used for Assemblies, performances and concerts and a wet-day play area.

The School is renowned for successfully blending the caring, happy atmosphere of a relaxed, family home with an environment which enables and encourages young children to develop to the very best of their abilities.

Emphasis is placed on learning skills which allow individual pupils to pursue their learning outside the classroom. The children are, at appropriate stages of their Prep School education, given responsibilities which can include being appointed a Prefect or joining the Pupil Council 'Eco Committee' or Magazine Committee.
