Kilgraston Nursery

Introduction

The Nursery is an integral part of Kilgraston Prep School providing a highly flexible and caring pre-school education where boys and girls between the ages of 2 1/2 and 5 years enjoy a secure, happy, creative and structured day, giving them confidence right from the beginning. There are two, three-hour, flexible sessions a day, five days a week with a cooked lunch in the dining room for those children staying all day.

At the Nursery the children learn to be creative, to socially interact and to gain independence and self-assurance from learning to manage simple tasks for themselves. Whilst they receive a thorough grounding in basic reading, writing and numeracy, the close relationship with the Prep and Senior School enables them also to benefit from specialist teachers and to take part in French lessons, Music and Gym.

Cost

As a Partnership Provider, grant funding is available for all parents, which ensures that the Nursery is available to every child.
