Curriculum
Senior School girls receive a broad and balanced education and undertake a wide range of educational experiences aimed at enriching and extending their abilities and understanding. It is hoped that they will develop:
- Lively and enquiring minds to think imaginatively and creatively
- A breadth of knowledge
- A flexible outlook
- Skills of innovation, enterprise and leadership
- A thirst and capacity for life-long independent learning
There are four senior school Houses at Kilgraston: Arran, Inchcolm, Kinnoull and Moncreiffe. Every pupil and member of the teaching and support staff is allocated to a House which meets for registration daily and comes together for challenges, outings, sports, social events and other activities.
Senior school girls have a wide range of subject options at Standard Grade after which they will progress to Highers and Advanced Highers at Sixth Form Level.
