Kilgraston Prep School Rounders Championships 2010

Kilgraston hosted it’s annual Prep School Rounders Championships on Wednesday 12th May. With 9 schools from across Scotland entering the competition it was a busy afternoon on the playing fields with two games being played at the same time. Parents, pupils and teachers all braved the relatively chilly afternoon to come and watch the action unfold. After 20 games were played with 8 minute innings per side the final came down to a strong Cargilfield team and the Kilgraston A team. The crowd grew as a home win was in sight. Kilgraston played a brilliant innings and brought home 9 1/2 rounders to Cargilfield’s 5 1/2! Well done to all the girls who took part and we look forward to defending the title next year!
