Top of the League

Last year’s Upper Sixth Advanced Higher results have been recognised as the best in Scotland gaining 88% A-B (The Scotsman 2009, BestSchools.co.uk).

Out of the top four schools, three were single sex girls’ schools. Current Chair of the Scottish Girls’ Schools Association, Principal, Mike Farmer commented that; ‘Just as in England, Scottish single sex girls’ schools dominate the league tables. Whilst one should be wary of such statistics, it is particularly pleasing to note that the Kilgraston girls are top yet again’.
