HMIe Inspection Report

Kilgraston recently underwent its first full HMIe Inspection since 1996. A team of eight inspectors looked at every aspect of the school with a week of interviews, meetings, lesson observations and the inevitable task of sifting through thousands of pages of school data. The Inspectors liked what they saw and were full of praise for the education under offer.

The school was commended for its sector leading academic performance. In addition, the team highlighted Kilgraston’s outstanding pastoral care and ethos and were impressed with the way the school’s Sacred Heart Goals matched the government’s aims for Curriculum for Excellence.

The staff came in for particular praise, with their commitment and dedication being a key feature of the school.
