Development

Whilst Kilgraston continues to prosper we are conscious that we cannot sit on our laurels and we must invest for the future.

Over the last six years, in addition to the continued programme of refurbishment and upgrade of our class-rooms, recreational and residential facilities, Kilgraston has undertaken an exciting capital development programme. This has included:

• New Theatre (2005)
• Pavilion (2005)
• Extensive Upgrade to the school’s ICT and wireless internet access (2006 and 2007)
• New all-weather play areas for the Prep School and Nursery (2008)
• Indoor 25 metre swimming pool complex (2008)
• Further extensive developments at the Equestrian Centre, including the flood-lit 60m x 40m arena (2008)
• Interactive classrooms throughout the school (2008)
• Drama Studio (2009)
• Centre for Sporting Excellence including the all-weather hockey pitch and resurfacing of the eight tennis courts (2010)
• Music Sound Studio (2010)
• In Spring 2012 we will start work on a new science building with four state-of the-art labs. The current science area will also undertake a transformation into a new Sixth Form Centre
