Senior Boarding

At 13, each girl is given her own study bedroom in ‘Mater’ the Senior house, so that she can have her own space to think, read, study or just enjoy time to be herself.

The Deputy Head (Pastoral Care and Boarding), House Mistresses and Residential Staff encourage a happy environment where the pupils can flourish in an atmosphere of tolerance, integrity, openness and thoughtfulness to others.

Kilgraston regards the pastoral care of its girls as fundamental and it is accepted by everyone at the school as key to the wellbeing and academic success of the pupil allowing her to develop her full potential whatever her academic ability.
