Dear fellow parents and friends, This letter is to invite you all to a Burns supper and Ceilidh - a night of fun and dancing on Saturday 31st January 2004 at 6.30pm in the Dining Hall. Because we want this evening to be enjoyable for all the family, the Burns Supper will include traditional elements like piping in the haggis and - we hope - amusing speeches. However the supper and speeches will not take too long before moving on to dancing, where young and old can enjoy live music. There will also be games and a single
item auction in the interval, featuring whisky (of course!) and the star
prize of a framed napkin (from Gleneagles!) autographed by Sean Connery,
Alex Ferguson, Walter Smith, Stephen Hendry, Alex McLeish & David
Murray. An absolute must have for Ranger's, TIckets: - £8 per adult, £6 per child or £24 per family ticket for up to three children - will include a traditional supper and soft drinks, plus all entertainment. Wine will be available to purchase at £6 per bottle. The cost of tickets has been kept to a minimum, bearing in mind the cost of Christmas, not to mention school fees! However, any profit made will go to the Kilgraston Foundation, enabling the school to offer scholarships and bursaries to girls for whom education at Kilgraston would be impossible without financial assistance and also towards a new Astroturf Hockey pitch. Please come along and bring your friends and family too. If you would like to reserve a table, please indicate on the booking slip provided. Larger tables seat eight and smaller tables seat four. Book now to avoid disappointment! Thank you so much for your support. We look forward to seeing you there!
Pam Murray, Chair
