Dancing raises money for Rwandan children
The Sponsored Dancing Display on Open Day May 2005 raised the sum of £124 for Hope and Homes for Children (for work with children in Rwanda). Many pupils watched the video “Cry for Love” and wanted to do something to raise funds for this worthwhile cause. Several teams of girls prepared their own dance routines and gave the first public performance in the New Theatre. A group from Kilgraston have recently returned from France in May
2005 to visit Paris and a sister-school in the Loire Valley. Earlier
in the term the Marmoutier group
paid their annual Scottish visit when they enjoyed a varied programme,
including trips to Falkland, Scone Palace and Edinburgh Castle.
