Rebecca Hamilton’s Equestrian Filled Summer
This summer Rebecca has been all over the UK & Ireland Show Jumping for Scotland in the Home Pony International competition in the 138cm class on her horse, Diego.
Early in the summer she travelled to Cavan in Ireland for the first leg where the Scottish team came second in their class. This was a brilliant achievement for the team as they were riding on a much larger course than they were used to.
Rebecca and her team then travelled to the David Broome Centre in Wales in which Rebecca was on reserve. They went home with fourth position but came out to take bronze at the start of August in the Scottish leg held in Rowallan, Ayrshire.
Rebecca will travel to the final stage of the competition at South View, England in October. We wish her and the rest of the Scottish Team the very best of luck and Rebecca has her fingers crossed for a gold to round off the competition!
